- Description
- The Defense Logistics Agency, DLA Maritime Norfolk, intends to procure, on a sole source basis, a Control Unit Assembly P/N 3461-2-1. The item is a component of the Model 3461 Portable Calibration System supplied by King Nutronics Corporation (CAGE 13589). King Nutronics is the original equipment manufacturer and the only acceptable manufacturer. Items are to be delivered to the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA. The procurement will be unrestricted utilizing FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) and FAR Part 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures). Contract type will be Firm Fixed Price and delivery is FOB Destination. The solicitation will be posted on or about 10 September 2019. It will close on 13 September 2019 at 4pm ET. Technical questions must be written and sent by email to Michael.Hagerty@dla.mil. The questions deadline is Wednesday 11 September 2019 at 4pm ET. Please make sure that the solicitation number (SPMYM119Q0127) is included in the subject line of any email correspondence. Emails without subject lines will not be read because of security issues. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and any subsequent amendments will only be available by downloading the documents at www.fbo.gov, as this office no longer issues hard-copy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither it nor its principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal agency.
