- Dear vendors, The US District Court is collecting bids to refinish the woodwork in two of our courtrooms. The contractor shall refinish all of the wood in the courtrooms removing any scrapes or blemishes and restoring its original color and shine. The contractor will protect the carpet, wall paneling, and all furniture etc. to avoid damaging anything in the courtroom during the work. Pictures of the courtrooms will be made available upon request however site visits are recommended. The court will be closed 8/30 and 9/2 for Labor Day but site visits can be scheduled on any other weekday between now and 9/5. After 9/5, the court will issue a contract to the vendor that provided the lowest proposal. Please submit a separate proposal for each courtroom and please include an option to have the work performed during NON-BUSINESS hours as the odor this work causes may force us to schedule after hours or over a weekend.
