Any brand meeting the specifications included herein is acceptable. Uniform Fire Code NFPA-1, ASTM E 1354 Flame spread Index ASTM E 84 Heat radiant Spread ASTM E 162 NFPA 258 Smoke generation Electrically non-conductive Solid one-piece construction Fit in McClure cart wash without modification To meet trailering and storage requirements dimensions must be approximately than 71 tall including the wheels x 60 ½ wide x 24 deep Shelves are not required, however if there are shelves that convert to doors, then the shelving shall be completely and easily removable to create an opening. Swivel Casters 6 to 8 and all casters must be swivel casters and locking for movement and safety. Tough, seamless polyethylene that is easy to clean. Drain Holes 6 holes per cart for easy cleaning. Questions and Answers Q1 Are fiberglass shelves acceptable instead of chrome wire shelves? The chrome finish can chip and rust and possibly damaging linen in transit. A1 Fiberglass shelves are acceptable so long as they can be completely and easily removed. Shelves that cannot be removed create the risk of falling unexpectantly on personnel. Q2 Regarding the 8 swivel casters, do you want all 4 casters to be swivel or do you want 2 swivel and 2 fixed? A2 The request is for all swivel casters that also can be locked.
