- Page 1 of 1 In accordance with 8.405-6(a)(2), this Notice of Intent is to inform all parties the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 located at 6162 South Willow Drive Suite 300, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 intends to award a sole source procurement for the following requirement to the large business, Computrition Inc, located at 19808 Nordhoff Place, Chatsworth, CA 91311-6607: ITEM # DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIES QTY UNIT OF ISSUE 1 Computrition Foodservice Operations Mgmt/Nutrition Care Mgmt Platinum; Multi Site HL7 ADT/DO/Tube Feeding Interfacing; Bedside Connect w/Room Service Connect; Floor Stock Connect/Inventory Connect; Tray inMotion; TouchPoint Dining 1 LT This is a new requirement for a Computrition Food Operations and Nutrition Care Management System (Base + Four Option Years) at the Department of Veterans Affairs George E. Wahlen VA Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. This system will be purchased through a firm-fixed-price FSS order. No other food operations and nutrition care management systems were identified as being utilized by the VA which were able to accomplish the comprehensive level of food management identified in the supply and services section (3) in the associated limited source justification. Additionally, no other off the shelf software system was identified as having the comprehensive interfacing capabilities that Computrition currently has with VISTA. The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 511210 and the Small Business Size Standard is $38.5 Million. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, Friday, August 16th, 2019. Information received in response to this notice must clearly demonstrate the capability of meeting the Government s need as stated above. Include any relevant information (specifications, cut sheets, brochures, capability statement, etc.) confirming the ability to supply the products and/or any services outlined in this notice. Responses to this notice are to be sent to kurt.tanny@va.gov. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government is not responsible for any potential costs incurred from interested parties desiring to respond to this notice.
