- HOPI TRIBAL COURT BLDG - MI&R CARPET REPLACEMENT & AIR DUCT CLEANING - Solicitation Number: 140A1119Q0058 A firm fixed priced contract is anticipated. The applicable NAICS is 236220 and the business size standard is $36.5 M size standard. Requirement is 100% set-aside for small business. Complete solicitation and attachments will be posted on or about August 26th, 2019. Project Description: Thorough cleaning and sanitation of all ductwork, air registers/diffusers, return air ducts, return air plenum, and HVAC air handling components, the removal and disposal of all carpeting, pads and debris, and the removal of all burlap/fibrous wall treatment. Contractor to remove and properly dispose of, at an approved landfill, approximately 3,659 sq.ft. of carpet/carpet pad, all baseboard and scrape off all mastic, glue and adhesive and traces thereof. A copy of the disposal manifest must be submitted to the COR. TASK 2 Remove all (4,960 sq ft) burlap/fibrous wall treatment, patch, tape, texture and paint all walls, Install 1"X 3" sanded, stained and varnished oak chair rail at 4' from the floor horizontally throughout. Color of paint to be determined by Facility Manager. TASK 3 Clean and sanitize all ductwork, air registers/diffusers, return air ducts, return air plenums, and HVAC air handling components. TASK 4 Patch and seal any/all cracks in concrete flooring. Prepare concrete for Lead-free painting of all flooring where carpet was removed including but not limited to; cleaning and chemical etching, priming, etc. Apply a minimum of 2 coats of Lead-free paint (color to be determined by Facility Manager) providing required time for drying between coats. Apply a minimum of 2 seal coats after painting, allowing ample time for drying. Apply a minimum of 3 finish coats and buff to a high sheen. Install 1"X 4" sanded, stained and varnished oak baseboard.
