- The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price sole source purchase order on behalf of the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) to Ajinomoto, Althea, Inc. located at 11040 Roselle Street, San Diego, CA 92121-1205 under the authority as prescribed in FAR Subpart 13.5, Simplified Purchases for Certain Commercial Items, Only one responsible source reasonably available that will satisfy agency requirements. This requirement is for the purchase of the stability testing and manufacturing of Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) Plasmid Bulk Drug Substances under the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Investigational New Drug (IND) Program.
