Description

The purpose of this notice is to inform potential interested offerors of the Pre-Proposal Conference and Site Visit for the Multiple Award Construction Contract Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (MACC IDIQ) Solicitation: FA2835-19-R-A041. The Pre-Proposal Site Visit will be a guided walk through tour of Building 1103indentified as the "MACC IDIQ B1103 Demolition Task Order" on the Request for Proposal: FA2835-19-R-A041. Requirement for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): The Government requires that Potential Offerors who plan on attending the Pre-Proposal event have with and wear PPE during the Pre-Proposal Site Visit due to the conditions and hazardous materials identified in the requirement documents that are present at the site. The Government will not provide and will not be responsbile to provide PPE to potential offerors. The PPE worn by the potential offerors shall be sufficent PPE to protect the attendes of the Site Visit from the conditions identified in the "MACC IDIQ B1103 Demolition" Task Order requirement documents. The Pre-Proposal Conference and Site Visit for the MACC IDIQ, will be held at Hanscom Air Force Base (AFB) Massachusetts (MA), 01731 on Wednesday July 17, 2019 at 9:00 AM EDT. Potential Offerors that intend on attending the Pre-Proposal event on 17 July 2019 and require access to Hanscom AFB, shall meet at the Hanscom AFB Visitors Center a minimum of 45-60 minutes prior to the start time to obtain your Visitors Pass. A Government representative from our office will be at the Visitors Center to meet you beginning at 8:00 AM EDT. *Requirements to obtain Visitors Pass* Potential Offerors shall ensure that personnel who are attending the Pre-Proposal event have the following required documentation in order to obtain a Visitors Pass. The Government will not be held liable for -- Valid Federal Identification (Driver's License, State ID, or U.S Passport) -- Valid/Active Vehicle Registration and Insurance located in the vehicle -- United States Citizenship -- Valid/Active Permanent Resident Card for personnel that are not U.S. Citizens (Card shall be kept on the personnel at all times when on the installation) The Government requests that Potential Offerors who plan on attending the Pre-Proposal event and require a Visitor's Pass' provide the below information on the personnel that are anticipated to attend to the Hanscom Contracting Office Point of Contacts no later than 1:30 PM EDT on Monday July 15, 2019. Potential Offerors that plan on attending the Pre-Proposal event and have active access to Hanscom AFB, shall plan to meet at the Pre-Proposal event location identified below. The Government requests that Potential Offeror's that plan on attending and have active access to Hanscom AFB, notify the Hanscom Contracting Office Point of Contacts of their intent to attend and provide below information on the personnel that are anticipated to attend no later than 1:30 PM EDT on Monday July 15, 2019. Information to be provided for planned attendees. -Name -Date of Birth -Last 4 of Social Seccuirty Number -Driver's License / State ID # - U.S. Citizen status Commerical Vehicle Searches: Potential Offerors that plan on attending the Pre-Proposal event shall be aware that all Commercial Vehicles are subject to search prior to accessing Hanscom AFB. The search of Commercial Vehciles is conducted prior to acessessing the Visitor's Center. Potential Offerors that plan on arriving in a Commerical Vehicle should plan on arriving before 8:00 AM EDT to allow sufficent time to go through the Commerical Vehicle search area prior to proceeding to the Visitors Center. DIRECTIONS: Directions to HAFB Visitor Center: Take Exit 30B off I-95/Rte 128, Hanscom Field Exit, go 1 1/2 miles to the blinking light, take a right, go 1/4 mile straight, bear right to Hanscom AFB, Vandenberg Gate, and check in at the visitor center.
