- The Memphis VAMC has a requirement for a Contractor to provide on-site medical physics and peer review support or services. This includes a radiation oncologist peer reviews and physicist peer reviews not to exceed 3 months. The qualified radiation oncologist shall perform a quarterly peer review of the Radiation Oncology Department records as they pertain to the radiation oncologist documents each calendar quarter not to exceed 3 months. The qualified medical physicist shall perform a quarterly peer review of the Radiation Oncology Department records as they pertain to the medical physicist documents each calendar quarter not to exceed 3 months. The report shall provide the necessary documentation as applicable to Radiation Oncology Service Accreditation. A report of the peer review will be supplied to the Chief of Radiation Oncology within 30 days after the review The VA is contemplating a firm fixed price unrestricted indefinite-delivery requirements contract with five annual ordering periods. Services are expected to begin on September 1, 2019. All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management database (www.SAM.gov) when quotes are received and for the awardee at time of award to be eligible for award of a contract.
