- Description
- The United States Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Yuma Proving Ground (MICC-YPG), Arizona, intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract on a sole source basis with Midac Corporation, 6 Coleman Ave. Westfield, MA 01085. The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG) has a requirement for the off-site repair of two Government-owned, Midac brand, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer (FTI-R) at Midac Corporation, 6 Coleman Ave. Westfield, MA 01085. Lack of this repair service will jeopardize YPG's ability to meet the requirements of the developmental testing mission. To avoid the adverse consequences, it is necessary to obtain timely and qualified repair service from an authorized source. The repair can only be completed by Midac as they are the only authorized certified technicians capable of performing the repair. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 811219 Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance," with a size standard of $20,500,00.00 was selected for the subject acquisition, as it relates to this requirement. Award for this requirement will be accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested person may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these requirements, then you must respond by demonstrating your firm's technical capability to meet these requirements by 17 July 2019, 12:00 PM Mountain Standard Time (MST). In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded information all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed item.
