- Description
- On 03/26/2019, the El Paso VA Main Facility experienced water valve failure that caused a major water leak on the 2nd floor. Although the water was clean water, the excessive outpouring caused flooding on both the 2nd and 1st floors, with the hardest hit areas being Human Resources, the Eye Clinic, Medical Records, and Logistics. Once alerted of the flooding, appropriate emergency efforts were taken to ensure that the impact was minimized as much as possible to our Veterans and staff. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (11-JUN-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
