- Description
- This project is being performed as a requirement of a Biological Opinion issued by National Marine fisheries Service (NMFS). The actual work to done each year is dependent upon the need for widening and deepening the channel and receipt of funding. The project area is located on the lower Yuba River at Daguerre Point Dam, Yuba County, California. Access to the work site is through a controlled gate off private property, approximately 10 miles east of Marysville, California. Traveling east along Hammonton-Smartsville Road turning left on Hammonton Road and follow dirt road to job site. The purpose of this contracted project is to maintain an adequate water depth across the face of the dam to provide unimpeded fish passage, from the fish ladders, to the main channel upstream from Daguerre Point Dam. A site visit will be scheduled for interested contractors.
