Description
DESCRIPTION: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT TO NETSMART TECHNOLOGIES, INC. Market research was conducted and determined that NETSMART TECHNOLOGIES, INC is the only vendor capable of providing the Methadone AV AM Maintenance Services. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Proposals or Quotations. No solicitation document exists, and no telephone or email inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made based on proposals, or quotations received in response to this notice. The government MAY consider all Expressions of Interest (EOI) received prior to June 19,2019. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses to this notice must be emailed to NATALIE.ACEVEDO@VA.GOV and received by 9:00AM EST on June 19,2019. Submitters are responsible for ensuring their EOI reaches the designated contracting officer on-time. STATEMENT OF WORK GENERAL INFORMATION Title of Project: Netsmart Technologies Methadone Dispensing System Software Maintenance Background: VA NJ HCS Mental Health & Behavioral Sciences (MH&BS) Opiate Treatment Program located in East Orange replaced their Methadone Dispensing System in 2012 with the Netsmart Avatar AM system. Original purchase included the first years annual software maintenance support fees. MH&BS has requested the continuation of those associated software maintenance fees. Scope of Work: The contractor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish the deliverables described in this statement of work (SOW), except as may otherwise be specified. The contractor will continue to provide 24/7 support daily for the Avatar software which is used in conjunction with the Methadone Dispensing Equipment in the opiate treatment program. Over the past five years Netsmart has been available at all hours and have completed the support outlined by the contract. Contractor shall provide: Avatar AM Meth software support 24/7 daily. CACHE Meth Cache Entrée software support 24/7 daily.
