- NAICS Code: 511210 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) Information Technology Acquisition Division (ITAD) intends to award a sole source purchase order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Chemaxon LLC., 3511 Silverside Road Suite 105, Wilmington, DE 19810, for the acquisition of Chemaxon Software and modules for one (1) base year and potentially up to three (3) option years. Chemaxon LLC has exclusive copyrights, patents, and/or trade secret ownership to the above software and, therefore, is the only vendor that can satisfy the requirement. In order to ensure correct system operation, the circumstance permitting Other than Full and Open Competition is FAR 6.302-1 Sole Source, *only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements*. The period of performance is expected to begin June 28th, 2019 through June 27th, 2023. All interested parties who believe they can provide the required maintenance/services, should fully explain their capabilities and qualifications in writing within 10 days from the date of this announcement. The intent of this synopsis is to determine if any other source(s) exist; and, therefore, no solicitation (RFQ) is available. Consequently, any response(s) failing to provide the aforementioned data but instead choosing merely to submit a routine letter requesting a copy of the RFQ will not be honored.
