- B-2 Hatch Jettison Rocket Motor (HJRM) Propellant Replacement Selection Disclaimer This is a Sources Sought Notice. This notice neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government from an alternate acquisition approach. This notice should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. Requests for solicitation will not receive a response. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any input as a result of this market survey. The U.S. Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. No award will be made as a result of this market survey. Description The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division, Contracts Department, Code 02, is seeking potential contractors to demonstrate feasibility for a replacement propellant for the B-2 Hatch Jettison Rocket Motor (HJRM). (Manufacturer PN: 3811300, NSN: 1377-01-352-4195, DODIC: SR73). Due to obsolescence of certain binder ingredients, the currently used propellant will not be available for future use. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (14-MAY-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
