- Special Notice/Synopsis: The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Las Vegas National Wildlife Refuge, New Mexico, intends to award on a sole source basis, a firm fixed price purchase order for three (3) years (base plus 2 option years) under authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Storrie Project Water Use, a large business located in Las Vegas, NM. This base year requirement is to pay the 2019 assessment fees for 3,763.77 irrigated acres on the Las Vegas National Wildlife Refuge. The NAICS code is 221310 and the size standard is $27.5 million. Las Vegas National Wildlife Refuge, in its entirety, is within the confines of one irrigation district administered by the Storrie Project Water Use Association. All of the Refuge ¿s water rights are directly tied to the water the Storrie Project Water Use Association manages. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however firms with expressed interest and capability are encouraged to respond by May 22, 2019 by 1200 EST. This notice is for informational purposed only. All responsible sources may submit a response, which if timely received, will be considered by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. This procurement will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition procedures. The anticipated award date is May 28, 2019.
