- Page 2 of 2 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 9 located in Murfreesboro, TN intends to issue a sole source firm-fixed priced contract to Conmed Corporation, 525 French Road, Utica, NY 13502-5994. Conmed Corps. will provide Conmed Dental Drill Preventive Maintenance services for Lexington VA Medical Center with equipment located at 1101 Veterans Drive, Lexington, KY 40502 (B229-01-CDD) and 2250 Leestown Road, Lexington, KY 40511 (006-17-LD). This requirement will be sole sourced due to CONMED products are designed and manufactured to exacting tolerances and thier design includes parts that are exclusively manufactured according to our proprietary design and specifications. CONMED, nor thier parts suppliers, sells any serviceable or replacement parts to non-original equipment manufacturer (non-OEM) repair facilities. CONMED is the only authorized service and repair provider for equipment. Conmed Corps. is the only implant tracking tool available that provides the complete scope of work that is required by VHA. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 and 13.106-1(b) (2), soliciting from a single source. The NAICS code utilized for this procurement is 811219 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance with a Size Standard of $20.5 Million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit quotations no later than 1:00 P.M. CST, Friday May 10, 2019 to: scott.dickey@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
