- This is a Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source contract using simplified acquisition procedures to lease antenna site name Cedar Rapids South # 370984 in Iowa with GTP ACQUISITION PARTNERS II, LLC. The lease is for the IRS agents' encrypted digital radio law enforcement communication. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) attempts to award a Base Year and three (3) one-year Option Years as follows: Base Year: 07/01/2019 - 06/30/2020 Option Year 1: 07/01/2020 - 06/30/2021 Option Year 2: 07/01/2021 - 06/30/2022 Option Year 3: 07/01/2022 - 06/30/2023 The IRS intends to solicit only one source pursuant to the authority of FAR 13.1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1. A sole source justification - Simplified Acquisition has been documented in the contract file in writing. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this notice and submit proposals. All responses received by the response deadline will be considered by the IRS. A determination not to compete this acquisition based upon to this notice or proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the IRS. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
