Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Market Research is being conducted to determine Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) or Small Business (SB) interests. The scope of the acquisition includes but is not limited to: The Fargo Veterans Affairs Healthcare System (FVAHCS) has a continued need for document destruction services in compliance with Veterans Affairs. Currently the FVAHCS generates approximately 255,000 lbs. of paper per year and approximately 300 lbs. of media/plastic per year, which is collected in locked security consoles located throughout the campus and off-site locations Document destruction services consist of physically collecting confidential materials from consoles located throughout the FVAHCS and outlying areas, which includes all papers, media storage such as files, disks, and x-rays, on a weekly and/or bi-weekly basis to be mutually determined by provider of the service and the FVAHCS and in accordance with VA Directive 6371. If your company has the capability of performing these services, please notify our office of your interest. In response, please include the following: (a) a positive statement of your intent to submit a bid as a prime contractor (capability statement); (b) evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, points of contact and telephone numbers. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. Responses to this notice should also identify whether or not the firm falls into any of the socioeconomic categories listed above. Also, please include the DUNS number. Your response is required by: 12PM MST on 7 May 2019.
