- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District is seeking contractors for the FY19 Green Bay Maintenance Dredging Project. The contractor will mobilize dredge to Green Bay. Construct a barrier using a combination of government and contractor furnished materials as indicated in contract documents. Dredge required areas as indicated on plans. Material to be placed in the Cat Island Dredged Material Placement Facility. Demobilize upon completion of work. General Information: The estimated price of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, which has size standard of $27.5 Million (dredging) in average annual receipts. This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is intended to be issued as a firm-fixed price contract set aside 100% for Small Businesses. Approximate solicitation posting date: Late May/Early June 2019 The solicitation package materials, documents, drawings, specifications, and attachments to the anticipated solicitation will be available only electronically and via FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov. Hard copy documents will NOT be supplied by the Government to any interested parties as a result of this solicitation. Please note that the Government will not be maintaining a bidders list during the solicitation period. However, vendors are strongly encouraged to review the "Interested Vendors List" tab found on the FedBizOpps website for this solicitation. In order for interested contractors to conduct business with the Federal Government, contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submission of bid. Contractors can access SAM for free at www.sam.gov.
