Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a sole source IDIQ contract with firm fixed price orders to BAE Systems Information and Electronics of Greenlawn, New York (BAE), for FY19-23 requirements for the Receiver-Transmitter ( RT)-1763D/APX-111(V) Mode 5 Combined Interrogator Transponders (CIT). This contract will also procure Mode 5 CIT Change Kits to convert the RT-1763B/APX-111 configuration to the RT-1763C/APX-111(V) Mode 5 CIT configuration, redesigned RT Shop Replaceable Assemblies ( SRAs) to convert a RT-1763C/APX-111(V) to a RT-1763D/APX-111(V), integration of SRAs and Change Kits, and repairs incident to modification. The FY19 basic contract will procure up to 80 Mode 5 CITs and up to 200 Mode 5 CIT Change Kits, up to 194 SRAs, and up to 205 Integrations and Repairs incident to modification. The FY20-23 Options will contain pricing for up to 150 Mode 5 CITs and up to 657 Mode 5 CIT Change Kits, up to 776 SRAs, and up to 677 Integrations and Repairs incident to modification. The quantities listed above are approximations and may be increased slightly if funding permits. Engineering support may be procured in each year of the contract. This effort is being awarded on a sole source basis to pursuant to the provisions of FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source".
