- THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service, South Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a solicitation to replace a wooden fence at the interpretive camp located at De Soto National Memorial, 8300 Desoto Memorial Hwy, Bradenton, FL 34209, Manatee County on or about May 13, 2019. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P5419R0013. This project includes (but is not limited to) the removal the existing wooden palisade wall and replacement of the wooden palisade fence using cypress slabs for the facade and pressure treated lumber for the framing. A detailed Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be provided with the solicitation documents. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses using NAICS code of 238990. The small business standard is $15M. The cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. All interested offers MUST have an active vendor record in SAM.gov, be a small business under the identified NAICS code and NOT have any exclusions such as a delinquent federal debt or debarment. SITE VISIT: Only (1) one site visit is scheduled for this action on May 28, 2019 at 10:00am (ET) in Bradenton, Florida. Details will be provided with the solicitation. Any questions must be received via email by 10:00am (ET) on June 05, 2019 to Mary_Stefanos@nps.gov. TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed-price contract is expected to be awarded towards the middle of July 2019. Note: Davis Bacon prevailing wages for Manatee County, FL will apply. The Government intends to award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The solicitation will be posted on FBO.gov (Federal Business Opportunities) on or about May 13, 2019. This date is subject to change. Hard copy documents including drawings will not be available - all available documents will be posted for download. Offers will be due no earlier than 30 days after issuance of solicitation unless extended by amendment. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. After issuance of solicitation, send any inquires via email to Mary_Stefanos@nps.gov by 10:00am (ET) on June 05, 2019. NO oral questions will be accepted. NOTE: No additional information is available until the solicitation is released.
