- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), on behalf of the Program Executive Office (PEO) Command, Control, Communications, Computers & Intelligence (C4I), Tactical Networks Program Office (PMW 160) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to obtain information regarding industrys ability to provide a global, affordable and streamlined network IP transport service which will service ships in port and connect them to the shore networking infrastructure. The Government seeks a commercially provided, Pier Connectivity as a Service based capability based service delivery model that supports an on demand granular service level and associated business model to meet a range of operational requirements. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. The information provided in the RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. Responses to this RFI are not offers and do not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. See Attached RFI for more details.
