- The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21 intends to issue a competitive solicitation set-aside to verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB)s, in accordance with VAAR 819.7006, VA Veteran-owned small business set-aside, for the installation of automatic door openers in several buildings at VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS), Palo Alto Division, 3801 Miranda Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304-1290. All responsible SDVOSB sources who are verified in VA s VIP Vendor Information Pages (https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/Default.aspx) at time of solicitation posting may submit a quote, which shall be considered. Estimated posting date of the solicitation is December 31st, 2018, and estimated closing date is January 31st, 2019. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be available at www.fbo.gov. Amendments to the solicitation will also be posted on this website. All parties must obtain solicitation documents and amendments to the solicitation through FBO. Hard copies will not be mailed. It is the responsibility of bidders to frequently check the website for all notices, amendment, etc., regarding this solicitation. Notification of any postponements and any amendments to this solicitation will be posted on this website. The Government will not be responsible for any notification not sent or received by the bidder regarding the solicitation. The solicitation will be evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-2 procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238290, Other Building Equipment Contractors, with a small business size standard of $15.0 Million. The magnitude of this construction project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. In accordance with FAR Part 5.102(d), availability of this solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium. In accordance with FAR Part 5.203, this notice is being published for at least fifteen days before issuance of the solicitation. All contractors are reminded that they must be registered in the SAM.gov database, https://sam.gov/SAM/ in accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management. All questions must be submitted via email and directed to angela.oppenheimer@va.gov. No telephone questions will be accepted. Questions will not be accepted after January 9th, 2019.
