- The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA)issues solicitation N00024-19-R-4415 for the execution of the FY20 USS WASP (LHD 1) Drydocking Phased Maintenance Availability (DPMA). The availability includes a combination of maintenance, modernization, and repair, and is expected to require a highly capable contractor with substantial facilities, to include an LHD 1 class capable pier and dry-dock as well as human resources capable of completing, coordinating, and integrating multiple areas of ship maintenance, repair, and modernization. The delivery date of the USS WASP is to be no later than December 2020.
