Description

This is a notice of intent to award a contract modification using Other than Full and Open Competition. This is not a request for proposals (RFP) or quotations. The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) intends to modify HQ0147-17-C-0032 to award a sole-source contract modification to Lockheed Martin Missile and Fire Control (LMMFC) for the production of Terminal High Altitude Area Defense Interceptors, associated one-shot devices and Interceptor unique support items to support the Foreign Military Sales requirements for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. If responsible parties believe they can perform components of the requirements, please contact Lockheed Martin Missile and Fire Control for subcontracting opportunities. An acquisition strategy has been approved to solicit and negotiate with LMMFC under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (14-MAR-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
