- Amendment 0001 to the Solicitation Notice Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Hood is issuing a SOLICITATION NOTICE for an Invitation for Bids (IFB) firm fixed price construction contract to replacement of #2 Chiller in Central Energy Plant (CEP) at Building 37015, on Fort Hood, Texas. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Women Owned Small Business (WOSB) set aside under NAICS Code 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors with a Small Business Size Standard of $15.0 Million and PSC code of Z1NB- MAINTENANCE OF HEATING AND COOLING PLANTS. The magnitude of this procurement is estimated to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The purpose of this project is to replace the existing #2 Chiller at CEP at Building 37015. All Work also includes all miscellaneous site work to support the facility and meet code requirements. The CONTRACTOR shall provide all plant, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, supplies and transportation necessary to complete this scope of work. Except as provided elsewhere in proposed contract. All work shall comply with all State, local and Federal laws and regulations, industry and construction codes and standards, manufacturer's specifications and recommendations, and all contract special provisions, terms and conditions. All work under this proposed contract will be performed within the confines of the Fort Hood military installation at Fort Hood Texas. Bid opening will be conducted on 02 April 2019 at 10:30 a.m. and completing contract performance 120 days after receipt of notice to proceed is issued. The Technical exhibits were revised and will be available for inspection without charge thru the Federal Business Opportunity (FedBIZOpps) at website: https://www.fbo.gov No paper copies of this solicitation are available. Government responds to industry once the Solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any Updates / amendments to all documents. Interested parties must be currently registered in the System of Award management (are posted on Amendment 0001 SAM) at website https://www.sam.gov to receive a Government Contract Award. Bidders shall register in SAM as well at https://www.sam.gov.online Representations and Certification must also be current to qualify to receive a contract award.
