- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation notice for a request for proposals (RFP). The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Western Area Power Administration (WAPA has a requirement for the award of an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) twelve (12) month base year with four (4) twelve (12) month option year contract with a ceiling price of $80,000,000.00. The guaranteed IDIQ minimum is $100,000.00. The maximum aggregate dollar value of Delivery Orders awarded to a vendor will not exceed the contract ceiling. Specific requirements will be identified in written Delivery Orders issued by the Contracting Officer. The solicitation will be a 100% competitive 8(a) set aside under NAICS Code 335313. The contractor shall furnish and deliver various 15-kV through 245-kV Power Circuit Breakers. The solicitation will be issued on or about March 1, 2018. The solicitation will utilize the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) procedures. A decision on the technical acceptability of each offeror ™s proposal will be made. For those offerors which are determined to be technically acceptable, award will be made to that vendor with the lowest overall price. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to all solicitation requirements, such as terms and conditions, representations and certifications, and technical requirements. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (07-FEB-2018).
