- The Contractor shall design, engineer, develop, manufacture, and install a minimum 4000 gallon Retardant Delivery System (RDS) tank with a net max dry weight of 5,000 lbs. for all fixed and removable components to include restraints with a maximum total system weight of 41,000 lbs. (which includes the fluid at a weight of 9 lbs/gal, dry weight of the tank and all additional structure) for seven (7) HC-130H aircraft. There shall be a basic contract with one (1) trial kit/install, one (1) verification kit/install and five (5) production kits/installs. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (14-MAR-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
