- This is a Request for Information (RFI) as defined in FAR 15.201(e). The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is interested in exchanging raw, bulk peanuts for peanut butter or other peanut based products for Domestic Food Distribution Programs. The peanut butter shall comply with the USDA Commodity Requirements PP16 Peanut Products For Use In Domestic Programs dated 7/10/2018. This Request for Information (RFI) will serve as market research to obtain information for the exchange of peanut butter. All information gathered in response to this RFI/Notice will be used solely for planning purposes. This is not a formal solicitation, but a request for interested parties to provide information. No exchange solicitation published by this office for peanut butter exists. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (06-MAR-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
