Description

The 11th Contracting Squadron at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland intends to award a simplified acquisition on a sole source basis to Halliday Technologies, LLC in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) Only one responsible source is capable of responding due to the fact that Halliday Technologies, LLC is the sole distributer of the RT3 Friction Tester. This will be a 100% set aside for Woman-Owned Small Business. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 334519 with a size standard of 500 Employees. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose if determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The government will not be responsible for any costs incurred in preparation of any capabilities statements or documents prepared for this notice. NOTE: If documents are sent via e-mail, the contractor will be responsible for validating Government receipt by contacting the Contracting Specialist at william.toth.4@us.af.mil. No solicitation is available and telephone request for information will not be taken.
