- The Library of Congress, (Library), Motion Picture, Broadcasting and Recorded Sound Division (MBRS) requires a Sondor Sound Head for the Scanity 4K scanner, currently owned by MBRS, both manufactured by Digital Film Technology, GmbH (DFT) of Darmstadt, Germany. MBRS will use the equipment for the scanning of analog sound tracks of diverse historic formats which are present on motion picture films in the national film collection safeguarded by the Library. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (06-MAR-2019); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
