Description
This is a FBO Special Notice of Intent to award a sole source. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2), on behalf of the VA New York Harbor Healthcare System, New York, intends to award a sole source to Philips Healthcare (DUNS 050471416), 22100 Bothell Everett Hwy Bothell, WA 98021. The period of performance will be effective March 20, 2019 through March 19, 2020 with possible twelve months option years. This requirement is to furnish all necessary labor, equipment, tools, materials, repair service, software, updates, parts and other items and services necessary to perform full service preventative maintenance on the Philips Intellispace Cardiovascular R3.X system. The purpose of the service agreement is to reduce service costs and improve equipment turn-around time and reliability. This will be a firm-fixed price task order against contract VA797H-17-D-0022 with the VA National Acquisition Center (NAC) and DLA Contract #SPE2D1-17-D-0014. The use of this contract, after first considering mandatory sources, is strongly encouraged by the NAC. The Philips Intellispace Cardiovascular R3.X system is located at the VA New York Harbor Healthcare System, 423 E. 23rd Street, New York, New York 10010 THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by March 13, 2019 by 10:00am EST. Responses shall be submitted via email to Josie.Tuitt@va.gov.
