- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst announces its intention to procure, on a sole source basis, an estimated maximum quantity of seven (7) Skydrol Hydraulic Fluid Dispenser 5 Gal, Malabar part number PF53467-1P; and an estimated maximum quantity of six (6) Forward Body Jack, Malabar part number 71400A-8, in support of P-8A production line from Malabar Inc, Simi Valley, CA. Sole source authority is provided under 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Malabar Inc. is considered the only responsible source capable of providing the required equipment because they are the designer and own all the proprietary rights to the engineering data and detailed product drawings and is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the aforementioned items. Therefore, Malabar, Inc. is the only vendor capable of producing the equipment to meet the Government requirement.
