- Description
- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Fort Jackson has a requirement to procure support services to provide both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on storage freezers on Fort Jackson. Fort Jackson maintains 14 walk-in freezer boxes for the storage of ice throughout the training area. These ice storage units hold the ice used by training units in Basic Combat Training when the temperature exceeds 70 degrees Fahrenheit. These are critical to the mission and safety of Soldiers in training. Solicitation W9124C-19-R-0017 will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) using the procedures outlined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15.
