- Air National Guard (ANG) 2018 Installations and Environment Workshop: National Guard Bureau (NGB), Air National Guard, Washington, D.C. is planning to host the Installations and Environment Workshop the week of 3-7 December 2018 in Tucson, AZ. This Workshop was last held in Camp Dawson, West Virginia in May 2015. At this workshop NGB Functional experts provide ANG Installations and Environmental professionals training and resources necessary to provide guidance, policy, feedback and training to enhance ANG programming in a constrained budget environment utilizing asset management principles, develop more robust sustainable installation planning, construction, and design with an emphasis on resiliency, sustainability, and energy efficiency to include public-private partnerships and shared facilities, and provide instruction on best practices for training and operation requirements. The primary audiences are ANG CE Squadron Commanders, Base Civil Engineers, Deputy Base Civil Engineers, Environmental Managers, and Facility Managers Vendors desiring to display and discuss their products and capabilities to the workshop attendees are welcome to do so. All interested vendors should work directly with the Hotel (The Westin La Paloma) and Ms. Miranda Hutchison for booth space and pricing. Government field and staff representatives may find vendor exhibits helpful in understanding capability/product solutions that are available in industry. Vendors are not considered workshop attendees, and individual briefing sessions will not be allowed during the government breakout sessions, in accordance with guidance from the Chief of the National Guard Bureau. Vendors will be restricted to the exhibit area and will not be provided credentials allowing access into the government breakout sessions. This is NOT a "bidder's workshop" and this announcement is not a contract, request for proposal, a promise to contract, or a commitment of any kind. The Government will not assume liability for costs incurred by any vendor for presentations, marketing efforts, or data offered for examination. The cost of preparing information in response to this notice is not considered an allowable direct charge to the Government.
