Description

This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purposes of this Sources Sought Notice is to determine interest and capability of prospective contractors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 339113 (Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing). VA has a need for two fully automated, computer-based endoscope reprocessors (Automated Endoscope Reprocessor-AER) to disinfect GI endoscopes. Medivator s ADVANTAGE PLUS Automated Endoscope Reprocessor reflect the characteristics and level of quality that will satisfy the Government s minimum specified requirements. Top load automated endoscope reprocessor. - Must be able to monitor each endoscope channel separately for blockage and flow. - No recalled products. - Must be able to reprocess Fujifilm scopes. - Energy efficient. - Will need to be able to have service contract with our biomedical service. - 120 VAC ± 10%, single phase, 60 Hz, 15 Amp circuit - Physical dimensions 62"H, 49"W, 31"D - Weight 400 lb - For use with Potable water. Temperature (95 °F ± 4 °F). - Internet connection for remote diagnostics as needed. - Installation by the vendor is required. - Provide two days of clinical training to our operators on the use of the new equipment. Provide biomedical training as available. If you intend to submit an equal product for evaluation, please ensure that you are in total compliance with FAR Clause 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal (Aug 1999) prior to responding to this Request for Information. The Contracting Officer will evaluate equal products on the basis of information furnished by the offeror or identified in the offer and reasonably available to the Contracting Officer. The Contracting Officer is not responsible for locating or obtaining any information not identified in the offer. Interested firms that can meet the requirements stated above should respond in writing and include at a minimum, ALL of the following information: Company name: Address: Point of contact (name/title/telephone number/e-mail address). FSS Contract number, if applicable: DUNS number: Tax ID number: Indication of which business category (SDVOSB, VOSB, Small Business or Large Business) for which the organization qualifies. A capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability to provide the requirement depicted above. If offering equipment as a distributor, provide a memo or correspondence from the manufacturer which proves the authorization as a distributor of the manufacturer s products. If an authorized distributor, a statement explaining the added value provided with this purchase if any. Reference the product, facility and sources sought number on all correspondence regarding this announcement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 339113 and the small business size standard is 750 employees.
