Description
Amendment 0001: RFQ response date has been extended Quotes are due not later than 4:00 PM EDT, 18 October 2018. Responses to RFIs recieved before 4:00 PM EDT 8 October 2018, will be posted in a forthcoming Amendment. W912PM18QVI05 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), solicitation number W912PM18QVI05. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-100. This procurement will be set aside as an 8(a) Small Business competitive set aside under the NAICS code 332311 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. Award will be made to the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable quote. Description of Requirement: The Wilmington District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers requires a contractor to perform acquisition and installation of temporary structure(s) and parking area to meet the needs for supporting public facilities that were destroyed or severely damaged due to the destruction created by Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria. The temporary structures shall be used to support healthcare treatment and administration. See attached Scope of Work. PARTIES INTERESTED IN RESPONDING TO THIS RFQ may submit their Quote in accordance with standard commercial practice (i.e. Quote form, letterhead, etc.) and MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: A minimum of a brief narrative addressing how each salient characteristic in the SOW listed at para 1.2 will be met; completed bid schedule; Solicitation number; Offeror's complete mailing and remittance addresses; discount terms, DUNS number, and Tax Identification Number. Any questions regarding this solicitation MUST be submitted via email to terry.w.hester@usace.army.mil. Any prospective awardee shall be registered and active in the SAM database (https://www.sam.gov/portal/SAM/) prior to any award of a contract resulting from this solicitation. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the Internet at http://www.acquisition.gov or by calling 866-606-8220. Site Visit- : A site visit has been scheduled for 02 October 2018 at 11:00AM EDT. Please meet on the project site adjacent to Schneider Regional Medical Center, St. Thomas, USVI. Those who plan on attending the site visit should submit their company name and the number of attendees to Terry Hester or Jere West by 4:00PM EDT, 28 September 2018.
