- Heat Inductor System The Authority seeks to award a contract to purchase three heat induction systems to remove ground rings from railcar axles. One heat induction system will be installed at the Brentwood Truck Shop, one will be installed at the Greenbelt Truck Shop and one shipped to Brentwood for future installation at the Dulles Truck Shop. To that end, WMATA is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) to solicit bids from qualified firms and individuals who can satisfy the requirements of the Contract.
