- Sources Sought Synopsis This notice is Sources Sought Synopsis. The primary purposes of this notice are as follows: • Conduct market research to determine if other sources are capable of satisfying the agency's requirements exist and if commercial items or nondevelopmental items are available that meet the agency's requirements • Improve small business access to acquisition information • Enhance competition by identifying contracting and subcontracting opportunities Furthermore, the Government would like interested parties to provide responses to the following questions: 1- What is your company's experience with the manufacture and repair of avionic displays for military aircraft, specifically fighter aircraft? 2- What is your company's experience with identifying, sourcing and qualifying replacements for obsolete parts of avionic displays, specifically the Active Matrix Liquid Crystal Display (AMLCD) and related items? This announcement is not a Request for Proposal or an Invitation for Bid, nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government does not intend to contract on the basis of this request or otherwise pay for any information solicited herein.
