- NAVSUP hereby issues a notice of intent in accordance with FAR 5.201 to award a firm fixed price sole source purchase order to Meggitt Training Systems LLC for the repair of a Meggitt Gun Range at NSF Deveselu, Romania, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), only one source reasonably available that will satisfy agency requirements. The contractor will be required to repair/replace the existing Meggitt XWT Target Retrieval System. The Meggitt XWT Target Retrieval System, mounting hardware, and operating software are proprietary information to the contractor therefore a sole source award is being made to Meggitt. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties who believe they can meet this requirement shall submit information about their capability statement, proposal or quotation no later than 12pm Italian Local Time, Wednesday, 26 September 2018. If the aforementioned submission meets the requirement it will be considered by the agency. All questions and responses concerning this notice shall be emailed to the points of contacts listed above. All information shall be furnished at no cost to the Government.
