- The purpose of this Amendment is to provide answers to questions submitted by a vendor and post a corrected Attachment A Price Cost Schedule. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. Question: In the Attachment A Price Cost Schedule of this solicitation CLIN 2003 says Reusable Double Loop High Back Sling, 5 Piece Case and under the Unit of Measure it says CS for case. On Wy East Medical s product literature it says that part numbers 51585, 51586, 51587 are sold in quantities of 1 EA as they are re-usable slings. On the reverse, the part number 51590 on the Price Schedule says EA and not CS and according to the product literature, this part number is sold in cases (CS) of 5. In the solicitation Attachment B Minimum Salient Characteristics it lists the part numbers consistently with the product literature on the manufacturer s website. Part # 51590 Cases of 5 Part # s 51585, 51586, 51587 1 Each That being said, referring to the Attachment B Price Cost Schedule, my RFI is: For #51590 which calls for Quantity of 160, although the UOM is EA does that mean the VA is looking for 160 cases of 5 for a total of 800 slings, or just a total of 160 slings? For # s 51585, 51586, 51587 which calls for Quantity of 80 for each of them, although the UOM is CS does that mean the VA is looking for 80 cases of 5 for a total of 400 slings, or just a total of 80 slings? Answer: Thank you for bringing this error to our attention. The quantities listed for the CLINs are correct, however the unit of issue is not. The correct unit of issue for part number 51590, the Reusable Double Loop High Back Sling should be Case (5 piece) and the correct unit of issue for part numbers 51585, 51586, 51587 is Each. The Attachment B, Price Cost Schedule has been corrected and is posted with this amendment to the solicitation.
