- identify and engage workgroup members consisting of investors from private and public equity investment funds, as well as leadership from digital health companies Intent to Sole Source: Pursuant to the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), the Contracting Officer may solicit from one source if the Contracting Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is reasonably available. The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Office of the Secretary(OS), Office of the Immediate Secretary (IOS) Intends to Sole Source to: Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) 33 W Monroe St Ste 1700 Chicago, IL, 60603-5616, UNITED STATES HHS plans on awarding on a sole source basis a simplified acquisition to HIMSS and its Healthbox component is to identify and engage a small workgroup consisting of investors from private and public equity investment funds, as well as leadership from digital health companies, therapeutics & life sciences companies, device manufacturers, payers, and providers to address key healthcare challenges facing HHS and other key constituencies within the US healthcare ecosystem. HIMSS is the largest and leading association for health technology and Healthbox its health technology accelerators are uniquely positioned to support HHS in this effort. This is not a solicitation for competitive proposal. No solicitation document is available. All responsible sources that have determined that they can provide the same services may submit product information and a capabilities statement addressing their specific abilities regarding this requirement. The email subject line must reference OS229418. All responses are due by September 26, 12:00 PM Eastern Time and can be sent to Adam Sweeney at adam.sweeney@psc.hhs.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract base upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
