- This award is for the services of the awardee to provide a Community Health Assessment at the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe territory. This award is made under FAR 6.302-2 Unusual and compelling urgency. The contractor must imediately begin services to meet the OMB time table for approvals. This service was previously delayed under contract HHSI285201600013P pending OMB review of the questionaire wchich signifigantly delaying this service to the tribe. Due to the need of this service for the tribe, and to prevent further delay of services as a delay in award of a contract would result in serious injury to the government. The Government has determined it is in the best interst of the government to award this contract as a sole-source and allow IHS reach its mission to to raise the health status of the American Indian and Alaska Native people to the highest possible level.
