THIS POSTING IS BEST VIEWED AT https://faaco.faa.gov The FAA has need of acquisition of CAVU-2100 Power Supply Assembly. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from qualified firms capable of providing the MDR power supply as described in the attached DRAFT SOW. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting proposal at this time. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to this market survey. Therefore, any cost associated with the response to the market survey is solely at the interested vendor's expense. OKCET MDR Power Supply Capabilities Statement At a minimum, the contractor must be able to verify the following capabilities: Verified SAMS number Must verify the ability to produce 1200 OKCET MDR Power Supply Rev 1 printed circuit boards, 1200 OKCET MDR Heat Sinks, 1200 OKCET MDR Cable Assemblies and 1200 Front-panel switch labels per year. Must have in place and demonstrate production control capabilities that conform to the standards established by Federal Aviation Administration AJW-173 Oklahoma Communications Engineering Team (OKCET). Must maintain the integrity of the Bill of Materials as established by OKCET. OKCET must be notified of any variation in the materials used and OKCET must verify and confirm the Form, Fit, Function (FFF) compatibility of the replacement items. All changes must be documented in the revised Bill of Materials. First Article testing will be performed under the supervision/by AJW-173 Oklahoma Communications Engineering Team, Mike Monroney Center, Oklahoma City, OK. The contractor must provide first level testing and documentation. The testing performed will be under the direction of OKCET. The components must be combined into an assembly including the following for each assembly: a. Fully populated 2-layer PCB. b. Fabricated heat sink attached to the PCB. c. Fabricated Power Monitor Cable assembly with serial number matched to PCB serial number. d. First-level (manufacturing) documented testing and two-potentiometer alignment of PCB. e. 24-hour burn-in of the assembly to include K1 and K2 power relays ™ load testing/cycling at 3A. f. Fabricated Front-panel switch label. The product must be packaged to include: a. OKCET MDR Rev 1 power supply housed inside anti-static bag. b. Associated power monitor cable assembly. c. Front Panel label inside Ziploc bag d. First level testing/alignment document Latent power supply defects will cause issues associated with national interests. As such, the power supplies (printed circuit cards, heatsink, cable assembly, and component assembly) will be manufactured and assembled in the United States of America. Attached are the DRAFT Statement of Work and the FAA Business Declaration Form. Please respond by reviewing these items, submitting a completed, signed capability statement and a filled-out and signed copy of the Declaration Form (please submit electronically).
