- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR QUOTE. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. Responses to this RFI may not be returned. Not responding to this sources sought does not preclude participation in any future and/or potential solicitation. It is the intent of the contracting office to use this for market research purposes only. A formal solicitation (FA4626-18-Q-0136) may be released at a later date via the Federal Business Opportunities (http://www.fbo.gov). The Government shall not reimburse the costs of preparing responses to this request for information. The 341st Contracting Squadron is seeking potential alternate products/sources to the following brand name product. The government anticipates issuing a commercial request for quotation (RFQ) for a Torchmate 4800-FC80 CNC Plasma Cutting Table OR EQUAL with the following specifications: Complete dual tool cutting area CNC plasma table 80 amp plasma cutter to cut up to 3/4˝ mild steel Next generation digital height control Magnetic torch breakaway Visual machine designer Software and shape library CAD software DXF importer (use with any CAD) Integrated water table Touch screen HDMI Tech support Industry standard warranty This proposed contract is being considered as a total small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code proposed for the requirement is 333515, Cutting Tool and Machine Tool Accessory Manufacturing, FSC is 3433, Gas Welding, Heat Cutting, And Metalizing Equipment. The size standard for NAICS 333515 is 500 employees. Interested parties may submit a capabilities statement stating if they can provide the specific item or an equal product for Government consideration. Any like item must expressly state how it either meets or exceeds the specifications contained herein.
