- Request for Information for Input on a Pilot Program for Micro-Reactor Demonstration (see attached document) This Request for Information (RFI) is intended to gather information for DOE ™s report to Congress on the various nuclear technology options available for consideration, survey commercial stakeholders who may eventually contract to construct and operate a micro-reactor under the pilot program, and solicit industry input on the type of Government support (e.g. contractual agreements, regulatory reforms, financial assistance, fuel material and fabrication support, etc.) needed to successfully demonstrate a micro-reactor at a DoD or DOE site by December 31, 2027. The responses to this request will provide important information and insights for DOE ™s potential pursuit of a micro-reactor pilot program.
