Description
1. Introduction The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for the annual renewal of the Air Defense Extreme Network (formally Zebra / Motorola) Wireless Program licensing, maintenance and support for the Motorola wireless devices deployed within the FAA enterprise. Air Defense Wireless provides wireless services and cybersecurity monitoring for the FAA offices wireless devices. A FULL DESCRIPTION OF THIS REQUIREMENT IS ATTACHED BELOW. 2. Period of Performance The period of performance will be from the date of award through one (1) year thereafter. 3. Set-Aside This procurement is set-aside for competition among small businesses. It is anticipated that the Government will award one (1) Firm Fixed Price purchase order to the lowest-price responsible, responsive offeror for the full quantities, that meet the required brand outlined in the requirements attachment. The applicable NAICS Code for this procurement is 511210 “ Software Publishers with a Size Standard of $38.5M. 4. Standard Language This solicitation is a Request for Offer (RFO) for Air Defense Wireless Licensing, Maintenance, and Support as specified in the attached requirements document. An awarded contract may result from the proposals submitted in response to this announcement. The FAA will not be liable for any costs associated with the submittal of a response to this SIR. Therefore, any cost associated with a response to the RFO is solely at the interested vendor's expense. All vendors must be registered in the SAM Registry website (www.sam.gov) for consideration of this award. 5. Delivery Requirement Responses to this SIR must be directed to Stephanie Petrone via email at Stephanie.Petrone@faa.gov by 12:00 PM (EST) on Tuesday, September 18, 2018. Late proposals will not be considered.
