- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center (FMC Butner), intends to award a sole source contract order to Philips Health Care. To provide a Full Service Maintenance contract on the Gemini64 TF. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 - only responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. The NAICS code is 811219. To the best of our knowledge, is the only provider for this service. This is a firm-fixed price purchase order for the performance the contract shall cover October 1, 2018.through December 31, 2018. This contract will be through Phillips Health Care and the Defense Logistics Agency. Any firm who believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by Thursday, August 30, 2018 11:00am. CST. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed and must show competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice will solely, be at the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source procurement to Philips Health Care. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts which they are eligible. In accordance with FAR 52.212-1; Instructions to Offerors commercial items. Acceptance time will be five (5) days from offer date. The following provision apply to this solicitation: 52.212-1, 52.212-3 Representations and Certifications-Commerci al Items; 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions; 52.204-7 Central Contractor Registration; 52.212-1 Solicitation Provisions Incorporated by Reference; 852.270-4 Commercial Advertising; 852.271-70 Nondiscrimination in Services Provided Beneficiaries; 52.252-2 Clauses incorporated by reference 52.232-18 Availability of Funds; 52.232-38 Submission of Electronic Funds Transfer Information with offer; 52.233- 2 service of Protest; 52.233-4 Applicable Law for Breach of Contract Claim. Interested parties are required to submit prices, clear and convincing data substantiating their capabilities and qualifications to satisfy this requirement. The Government contemplates award of a firm fixed price single award contract resulting from this solicitation. All offerors responding to this announcement shall submit an offer along with the information required in 52.212-1 and a completed copy of provision 52.212-3, to Contracting Officer.
