- Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Pacific (SSC Pacific) formally issues this combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED, AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation is a Request for Quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-99 effective 15 June 2018. The NAICS for this procurement is 334519 with a small business standard size of 500 Employees. The intent of this acquisition is to award a Firm Fixed Price purchase order, 100% set aside for Small Businesses. DESCRIPTION OF NEED: Required Specifications: -Must consist of two separate modules (Cryogenic and electronic apparatus and sensor module) -Must have continuous cooling capability -Must be able to operate in the temperature range of 75<T<80 kelvin (-324F <T<-315F) -Sensors must not be subjected to electromagnetic interference (EMI) at extremely low magnetic fields (1012 times smaller than the earth's magnetic field). - Sensor module must be non-magnetic and non-metallic -Sensor module must accommodate two superconducting quantum interference device array sensors that are mounted orthogonally. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: i. Technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement ii. Price Technical capability will be of approximately equal importance to cost or price.
