- SOW for Packaging and Preservation DDForm 1348 DDForm 1348 Transportation Doc Packaging Report Request for Quote (RFQ) FA822618Q1748 Request for Quote: 0001. NSN: 1560-ND-080-943G WF, Part Number: 32363 Noun: CASE ASSY for 5 Units EA 0002. NSN: 1560-ND-080-944G WF, Part Number: 85452600140, Noun: SHAFT ASSY for 3 Units EA Please, See Attached Request for Quote (RFQ) and additional Documents for Packaging and Transportation. PACKAGING INSTRUCTIONS: (a) The contractor will make two copies of the attached DD form 1348-1. One copy will be put inside the shipping container, and the other copy will be put on the outside of the shipping container. b) Items shall be packaged in accordance with the Contractor's commercial best practice to ensure undamaged arrival at destination. Individual shipments exceeding 150 pounds, 108 inches in length, or 130 inches in girth plus length shall be packaged on skidded crates or palletized to allow handling by forklift. c)The exterior container shall be marked (readable from 24 inches): "NOT FOR OUTSIDE STORAGE" PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS: **Note: To facilitate the payment process in Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) the contractor shall provide a copy of the purchase order with the asset when shipped to its destination. **Note: To facilitate timely payment; upon shipping send an email to Michael.sansone@us.af.mil with proof of delivery. This will greatly expedite the payment process. **THIS IS IN SUPPORT OF AN EMERGENCY BUY Early and Partial Shipments will be accepted at no extra cost to the Government.
